Safety Council

Competition and the pace of business create additional pressure on business owners and managers every day. We believe by working together, businesses in Clark County can help themselves become more competitive and profitable. Please consider joining the other businesses who are investing in the future of our economy. Allow us the opportunity to inform you about the benefits and opportunities that your Chamber can provide.

Chamber members receive networking and learning opportunities that are easily accessible and affordable. We hope that you are convinced that investing in the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce is important for your business. Contact us for a membership application or click here to sign up online.

Being involved with the Chamber is a great way to bring attention to your business. Your name and face become associated with your business to all of the other Chamber members and community leaders. Click here to view the Safety Council's brochure.

FrankGates:
The Two-Hour Safety Requirement for employers in the July 1, 2010 Group Rating and Group Retrospective Rating Program has expired.  The requirement is an annual requirement.  Therefore, any private employers enrolled in a July 1, 2011 Group Rating or Group Retrospective Rating Program, that had a claim in calendar year 2009 or 2010, must fulfill the new years requirement by June 30, 2012.  We will continue to hold Two-Hour Safety Sessions throughout Ohio.  Additionally, we will notify all impacted employers.  For Public Employers, employers must fulfill the requirement by December 31, 2011.
