and legislative information. Events include informal networking.
Networking at Night
Networking at Night provides Chamber members with an opportunity to network with
fellow members in an informal cocktail party setting. Events are typically held
at a host company venue and are attended by upwards of 250 members.
P. Dennis Sheehan Memorial Chamber Golf Open
Held each year in August, the Chamber Open is one of Springfield’s “major” golf
outings. Teams compete in a scramble format and prizes are awarded for low
score, long drive and closest to the pin. The event concludes with Golf After
Hours networking.

Advertising Opportunities
Businesses join the Chamber to increase their visibility and build business
connections. Chamber members can access a variety of marketing opportunities
with price points that can fit your budget. Members can reach numerous audiences
to find that ‘next client.’ Advertising opportunities include:
RegionView Sponsorships
Now an eight-page center section feature of new community magazine, Springfield
B2B business magazine presented by Cox Media. Springfield B2B reaches 3,000
businesses every other month. The RegionView section is over printed and
distributed to an additional 2,000 business people in Clark, Greene and
Champaign counties. There is only one opportunity for each RegionView – a $1,000
sponsorship package.
JavaBreak Advertising
Our weekly electronic newsletter JavaBreak reached 1,800 readers and is
forwarded throughout companies. JavaBreak includes Chamber and community news
which is why it makes its way to the company break room!
A standard 3x5” ad may include a photo or graphic supplied by the advertiser in
required size and format. The ad will link to your Web site or event site.

Member Directory
The Chamber’s membership directory incorporates a legislative guide and lists
our members alphabetically and by business category – free. For additional
visibility for your business you can add:

| Half-page ad | – appears in same section as listing $550 |
| Full-page ad | – appears in same section as listing $675 |
Directory is produced in 8 ½ x 11” format. All ads appear in full color.
2,000 copies are distributed over 12 months to Chamber members, in business and
employee recruitment packages and in new resident packages.
Annual Report
(One Exclusive Profile) Each February the Chamber issues an annual report to its
members, community leaders and elected officials. One exclusive sponsor’s
profile will appear in 1,200 copies distributed each February/March.
Community Map
Put your business on the map … literally. High quality fold-out city/county maps
are another opportunity to get your message heard throughout the community and
beyond. Don’t miss the opportunity to put your business on our 2010 community
map.
Realtor Brochure
The Realtor brochure was developed for realtors to reach new markets. The
Realtors Brochure is a break-out piece for new residents. It is distributed in
response to new resident inquiries and used the Wright Patterson Air Force Base
“BRAC” transfer welcome events.

Sponsorship Opportunities
Networking at Night
Sponsor Networking at Night and everyone will remember your company! A classic
Chamber event with food, beverages, fun, and networking. The event is held at
member host businesses with promotion by direct email, JAVA Break, and our
RegionView Magazine. Sponsorship costs vary. $20 per attendee. Contact Chris

Golden Leaf Gala
A Chamber member-only event, the Golden Leaf Gala is one of our most popular and
well-attended events. Held each October, the Gala features a game show format
with dozens of prizes available to attendees. Sponsorships range from prize
donations to $3000 presenting sponsor. Please check the Chamber calendar for
date and additional info.
Annual Membership Meeting
Our signature event is held each February and includes the region’s largest
business expo. Join us as we reflect on the past year and look forward to future
