Amy Donahoe has served as the Director of Workforce Development at the Chamber of Greater Springfield since 2008. She works closely with workforce development and economic development partners in Clark County and the entire region, and focuses on the growth and retention of local businesses. Amy has partnered on a number of community workforce initiatives with target populations ranging from 8th grade students thru adults, including the organization of large regional job fairs each year. Amy also is the chair for the Chamber’s Ambassador Program. She has worked in the Clark County community for over 19 years.
Amy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a concentration in Human Resources from Bowling Green State University in 1999. She is a 2003 graduate of Leadership Clark County (LCC), and served on the LCC board of directors for 6 years post-graduation. In 2016, Amy was selected for the Education & Training Division Fellowship program via the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). Amy is a past president of the Springfield Human Resource Management Association (SHRMA), and currently serves as the Membership Chair on the SHRMA Advisory Board. Amy and her husband served as co-chairs for the local United Way campaign in 2015 and 2016, and she was asked to join the Board of United Way of Clark, Champaign & Madison Counties in 2017, where she currently serves as President-Elect.
